Celebrating 20 Years in Financial Services - How I Built Our Comprehensive Planning Practice
This year I will celebrate my 20th year in the financial services industry. Much has changed over this period of time, and it is as important as ever for advisors to continue to develop their process to deliver the best client experience possible, while maintaining the fiduciary standard that is expected. Early in my career, I chose to pursue the most elite designations in our industry.
The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification is one of the cornerstones in our industry today. Only about one-third of advisors are CFP® professionals, and the program is just one way advisors display their commitment to all aspects of financial planning. This benefits our clients by making sure we take a holistic view and do not miss any critical components of a successful plan.
One of the most prestigious designations in not just finance, but the professional world, is the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Only about 2%* of financial advisors hold this designation. The rigorous curriculum has helped guide the portfolio analysis for our clients and given me a greater insight into company analytics, as well as help our clients mitigate risk.
The last important piece of the puzzle was going back to my alma mater, Pepperdine University, to complete my MBA at the Graziadio Business School. The experience has helped me grow our practice and build our team, while operating in an efficient environment, with the sole purpose of a client experience centered around a holistic financial plan.
By combining elite industry designations with advanced education and a commitment to client-centered service, we believe that every financial plan we create is thorough, personalized, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Our approach allows us to view financial well-being comprehensively, prioritizing what is best for each client. This enables us to take a complete and integrated approach to financial planning.
