What To Expect From A Financial Plan?

What To Expect From A Financial Plan?

October 01, 2024

“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail” – Benjamin Franklin

It is estimated that only about a third of Americans are prepared for retirement*. Even less have an actual plan in place that fit all the pieces together. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, when providing investment advice, we act as a fiduciary and look at many different aspects that can affect a financial roadmap and help avoid the pitfalls from failing to plan.

If someone wants to get in shape or lose weight, they increase their chances of success if they hire a fitness coach. The coach educates and teaches them about different workouts, meal plans, and other health tips customized for their age, goals, and experience. Most importantly, they have someone to hold them accountable to give them the highest probability of success.

We play a similar role in our client’s lives by being their financial coach. We take the existing (or sometimes non-existent) plan and make it better. We are educators and teachers in areas many people struggle to find clarity. We hold our clients accountable to make sure everything is done to give them the highest probability of success. We are creating a plan with their overall goals in mind and customizing it for each individual.

As financial advisors we aim to create a financial plan for our clients to help them succeed and reach their financial goals. As Mike Tyson famously said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth”. At Legacy Finance, we can help ensure that you are as prepared as possible by having a financial coach on your side to help obtain your long-term financial goals.
